Apply for Membership Online

When you join Falkirk District Credit Union you become more than just a prudent person who manages their money. You become an investor who is directly helping the local community.

To qualify for membership of Falkirk District Credit Union you will need to:

  • Live or work in the FK postcode area (covering Falkirk, Clackmannanshire and Stirling Council locations) or the neighbouring EH postcode areas as here (EH29, EH30, EH48, EH49, EH51, EH52)
  • provide us with photographic ID e.g. passport, driver’s licence and address ID e.g. bank statement, household bill etc (one of each, photo and address) by email.
  • Pay a joining fee of £2 which is deducted from your first payment. Please note there is also a £5 annual fee (deducted end of October)

To join online please complete the online membership application form. Once we have received this we will contact you to request ID prior to opening your account. (If we do not receive this within 7 days your application will be withdrawn). Once we have received your ID and opened your account you will receive a welcome email with your membership number and details of how to operate your account. Please allow 2 working days for email confirmation.

Alternatively, you can call into the office at 4 Station Road, Grangemouth with your photo and address ID and we will open your account instantly.

Please note you will be unable to apply for a loan until you have saved regularly for 6 weeks or 2 months.
